The location was perfect, right in the heart of the town but surprisingly quiet. the beds were incredibly comfortable, and I had the best night's sleep in years. the view of the hills from the rooftop was simply breathtaking. The cottage itself was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the kitchen had all the amenities we could ask for, and the shower was both hot and powerful. We even discovered a washer dryer and hoover after a couple of days, which was a pleasant surprise. Parking was easy with the permit provided, and the nearby car park made it convenient for us to explore the surrounding areas. the proximity to popular attractions like Lake Windermere and Derwentwater was a huge plus for us. Overall, I would highly recommend Upper Sycamore Cottage to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay in Ambleside. It was the perfect choice for our group of friends, and I would definitely stay there again in the future.
